Your Ideal Client Has Questions…You Have Answers
What we’re looking for here are the types of questions that your ideal customer is asking online about what you have to offer.
What is she searching for? What terms is she using to find answers?
If you are a house sitter, for example, she may want to know things like:
- How do I find the right house sitter?
- What should I expect to pay a house sitter?
- What can I ask a house sitter to do for me?
Get it? You want to get inside her head and think of all the different questions she’s asking about your particular thing.
And then you want to provide her with answers via any of these options:
- Articles – published on your site or elsewhere
- Blog posts
- Audio files
So here’s your homework: take an hour or so and start brainstorming all the questions your ideal customer needs to have answered before she can buy from you.
This is a list you’ll want to keep handy so you can add to it as things bubble up to the surface.
Next, take some of the most important ones and start outlining a plan and schedule for how you’ll address these questions. The simplest thing to do is write articles or blog posts. So let’s start there. I’ll have more for you in the next installment.
If you feel a bit wobbly with this lesson, and want some help, let me know. A quick email is all it takes.
