When you’ve tested your idea and feel confident that it fits with your business model and future plans, then it’s time to do a “rollout.”

Are you starting from scratch or doing a brand refresh? Each path will have it’s own needs and timeline. But both paths will need your attention to the same sorts of things:

  • Logo design or redesign
  • Website design or changes (even if it’s just the content)
  • Making sure your image is consistent across the web

The first step is to make a checklist of tasks that need to be done and attach deadlines to each.

The best way is to work backward from a particular date that you’d like to be up and running. Just remember that things often take 2 or 3 times longer than we think they will!
